Task 4: The Pitch

Before we could make our film we had to think up 2 ideas. We did this so that each person in our group could have an input into the film. Also, if one person created an idea with a good story line but another person had some good ideas that we could incorporate both of the films into one.

Pitch One:
The idea of this first pitch was for the main character to get a phone call which tells him a mobster is holding somebody hostage who is feels close to. The main character is told of the place where he needs to get to to save the hostage, however, on the way to this place in comes in to contact with mobsters who's task is to take him down before he gets to his destination. When he gets there you hear an off screen gun shot which tell the audience something has happened to the girl.

Pitch Two:
The second idea we had was for a the main character to start off, stumbling into a room and climbing some stairs. The reason he was stumbling was that he was drunk. Eventually he gets to the top of the stairs and open the door to his bedroom and finds his wife lying in bed with another man which would suggest sexual activities. He falls into the room and tells the man to "GET OUT"!, as the man picks up his shoes and scrambles across the bed. The main character then will drunkenly address his wife and tells her to "GET UP"!, she does. He then advances on her and swings a punch at her. Just as he is about to hit her, the shot blacks out and the credits roll.
